Our Worship Services

In worship, we are united, acknowledging the holiness of God, to hear God’s Word, to offer prayer and to celebrate God’s presence among us. All are welcome to participate in our worship services. It is in worship that we live out our life as a Christian family.

Sunday Services

We have three worship services on Sunday morning:

7:45 a.m. – Holy Communion Rite I, a spoken service.

9:15 a.m. – Holy Communion Rite II with choral music.

11:30 a.m. – A service of contemporary music, with Holy Communion in the Anglican tradition.

Additional Services

Good Shepherd also has a Wednesday evening worship service held in the Chapel:

7:00 to 8:00 – A study of the upcoming Sunday's Readings, Prayers for Healing and Holy Communion.

Scripture is the Foundation of Our Worship

Our services follow an order found in our worship book called the Book of Common Prayer, two-thirds of which is scriptural. The Book of Common Prayer allows everyone to participate, reminding us that each person is an important part of the worship experience. Every worship service includes the reading of Holy Scripture from the Old and New Testaments.

3. Turn left onto S. Friendswood Dr. / FM 518 South.
4. Turn sharp right onto W. Winding Way Dr.; Destination will be on the left.

From Galveston:
1. Heading North on I-45 (Gulf Freeway), take EXIT 23 - FM 518 / League City.

2. Turn left onto W. Main St. / FM 518. Continue to follow FM 518 N.
3. Turn slight left onto W. Winding Way Dr.; Destination will be on the left.
